Coached by the nines.
NINEBASE isn't taught by generalists. Every module, drill and review session comes from halfbacks who have played the position at the very top of the game and are still in it today.

Harrison Goddard
Australian professional scrum-half of Aboriginal descent. Super Rugby with the Melbourne Rebels, NSW Waratahs and ACT Brumbies, Major League Rugby with the LA Giltinis, Australia U20 and Australia Sevens, and selection for the inaugural First Nations & Pasifika XV in 2025. Currently playing in Japan Rugby League One with the Shimizu Koto Blue Sharks.
Harrison built NINEBASE to turn everything a professional environment teaches a 9 into a structured, repeatable system that any halfback can train, anywhere.
More on NINEBASEWill Genia
110 Test caps for the Wallabies.
One of the finest halfbacks Australian rugby has produced. Will played 110 Tests for the Wallabies across three Rugby World Cups, captained his country, and was the heartbeat of the Queensland Reds side that won Super Rugby in 2011. He went on to play in France with Stade Français before moving to Japan, where he has spent the last chapter of his career playing and coaching in Japan Rugby League One.
Will now sits inside NINEBASE as a G9 Coach. He co-leads the monthly review sessions with G9 Club members: watching submitted game footage, breaking down decision making at the base, and coaching the small details that separate a good 9 from a professional one.
His coaching work in Japan has sharpened a specific strength: teaching game management and tempo to players in a second language, with clarity, patience and zero fluff. That's exactly what he brings to a review call.
Two nines. One system.
